Thoughts behind: From my window in my small atelier I can watch the birds that visits our tiny backyard. Though birds from the crow family often is connected with 'the uncanny',  I have always liked them - their deep black feathers, their extreme intelligence and the somehow knowledgeable glimpse in their eyes.
